Access to PII
EBAS defines Personally Identifiable Information (PII) as any information you share with EBAS, which EBAS can use—either alone or with other information—to identify you. PII that you may share with EBAS include your name, email address, and telephone number. Protecting the privacy of your PII is the goal of EBAS.
Anyone who browses the EBAS Website does so anonymously. However, any contact made to EBAS via the Contact Dr. Esther C Bubb form is not anonymous. In those instances when you provide your PII knowingly and willingly, EBAS accesses the PII you provide . Any PII you provide when you use the Contact Dr. Esther C Bubb form is used to respond to you only. No person or entity may collect PII you submit through the Contact Dr. Esther C Bubb form.
EBAS establishes and maintains reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect and secure any PII you share with EBAS from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
PII Age Requirement
Under the Federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (“COPPA”), EBAS will never knowingly request PII from anyone under the age of 13 without parental consent. When parents, guardians, and caregivers knowingly and with consent provide PII for individuals under the age of 13, EBAS will not share the PII of those individuals under the age of 13 with third parties.
The EBAS Website uses log files. These files log visitors to the site—a standard procedure for hosting companies and a part of hosting services’s analytics. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, number of visitors, and the number of clicks. This information is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movement around the site, and gather demographic information. EBAS does not link IP addresses and other log information to any PII.
To extend the information the EBAS Website provides, EBAS may include direct links to other reputable websites and/or resources in the information posted on the EBAS Website. Providing direct links to other sites and/or resources does not constitute an endorsement of the information on linked sites and/or in linked resources. Although EBAS links reputable websites, EBAS does not create or maintain their privacy policies, terms, or conditions. EBAS recommends that you review the privacy policies, terms, and conditions of linked sites when you access those sites.
